Artist/perfumer Joe Merrell was inspired to create this fragrance by his memories of the natural beauty and spiritual significance of 獅頭山 (translated: Lion Head Mountain) in Miaoli, Taiwan.
The perfume’s base is composed of woody/earthy notes of hinoki cypress and a blend of cedar oils. The invigorating, lemony scent of May Chang (litsea cubeba) accompanies the delicate floral notes of jasmine, and the deep, fresh green of violet leaves – evoking the vibrant colors and aromas of the mountain's lush foliage, inviting you on a journey along mountain paths connecting the temples in this uniquely beautiful place.
